Photography

Hornby, British Colombia.

These photographs were taken during a trip to Hornby Island, a remote place off the coast of British Columbia. I sought to capture the stillness of the landscape and the fleeting intimacy of shared moments—sunlight on water, laughter carried by wind, the sense of time briefly suspended. The images reflect both the tenderness of departure and the calm clarity of isolation, where endings begin to take on the shape of new beginnings.

Venice, Italy.

These photographs were taken during an art history summer program in Venice, coinciding with the 2024 Biennale. Immersed in the city’s layered architecture and the flux of contemporary art, I was drawn to moments where the old and new collided—reflections in canal water, fragments of installation spaces, the quiet rhythms of daily life unfolding beside global spectacle.

Saanen, Switzerland

These photographs were taken during my time working in Saanen, Switzerland, caring for children amid one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world. Between moments of play and routine, I found myself observing how light moved across the mountains, how the quiet of the valleys contrasted with the liveliness of youth, and how beauty could coexist with the simplicity of daily life.
